Fair Isaac told the SEC it will eliminate about 15% of positions, citing fewer management layers, a simpler structure, better processes and tools, and “integrating AI-driven product development.”

In an 8-K signed 6 Oct, Fair Isaac said management committed to the plan on 1 Oct and began notifying affected employees the week of 5 Oct. It expects the plan to be substantially complete by the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2027, with about $27.0 million in pre-tax charges in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, mostly severance. The filing gives no headcount or locations, and lists AI-driven product development as one of four reasons.
