Airtable’s new product lead says affected staff leave this week with “substantial separation packages”. The company has not given a headcount.

Airtable, which Bending Spoons acquired in early September, is “parting ways with a large portion of the pre-acquisition team,” product lead Alessandro Savarese wrote on Monday. He said departing staff leave by the end of the week with substantial separation packages, and that the customer-facing organization is not affected. No headcount was given. The post says Bending Spoons engineers have been embedded at Airtable. It promises monthly core improvements, an upgraded Omni assistant, Airtable Canvas, a more capable MCP integration, and agent permissions and audit logs for enterprise accounts. Customers’ plans and prices are unchanged, it says.
