DeepSeek released DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 on Saturday, calling it a minor update to V4.1-Flash. The model card says the repository and weights are licensed under MIT, lists a 1 million token context window, and gives 763 billion parameters. DeepSeek’s own benchmark table shows gains over the previous Flash release, including Terminal-Bench 4.0 rising from 31.2 to 42.3 and DeepSWE v1.1 from 74.2 to 77.0; these are company figures and independent results have not yet been published. DeepSeek also opened its Search and Fetch APIs to developers at $0.75 per 1,000 calls per endpoint, with free use through some harnesses until 31 October, according to The Decoder. The model is also available on DeepSeek’s website, app and API.
